Required Trainings for IRB–HRRC (Human Subjects Research) Applications

To complete the training required, visit www.citiprogram.org, register as a new user, and affiliate with FSU. After registering, select and complete the training assigned to you.

Upon completion of each training course, you will receive a certificate link. Certifications are valid for three (3) years and should be included on your C.V. and in Digital Measures.

All researchers, including faculty, administrators, staff, and students, must complete the required training before a research application can be reviewed.

For Research Involving Human Subjects:

  1. Ethics for Researchers (co-branded "Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research")
  2. Social and Behavioral Research

For Research not involving Human Subjects, all researchers are required to complete:

  1. Ethics for Researchers (co-branded "Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research"). For some individuals, specialized training may be required, such as working with animals or with drugs.
