What You Need to Do

1. Submit your NC College Connect application via CFNC.
2. Pay the $50 application fee.
3. Complete your supplemental application information. Login to the Broncoville Portal and view the Dashboard for next steps.
4. Your high school transcripts will be sent automatically. No action is required.
5. Already applied or planning to apply? Do not submit another application through the Broncoville Portal or via CBCA or Common App.

• Regular Decision Deadline 
• To guarantee your space through NC College Connect: Apply between September 15, 2026 – January 29, 2027. 
• Completed applications received during this window will be considered for scholarships.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the NC College Connect application confirm my enrollment with Fayetteville State University?

Submitting your NC College Connect application does not confirm your enrollment at Fayetteville State University. Once your application has been processed, you will receive your official admission decision. To reserve your place in the incoming class, you must submit your Intent to Enroll and Enrollment Deposit by May 1.

When will I receive my formal acceptance letter?

Your official admission decision will be released electronically after your application has been processed and all required application steps have been completed.

Am I eligible for scholarships?

Yes. Admitted students are automatically considered for eligible merit-based scholarships through the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. Students will also receive access to ScholarshipUniverse, where they can search and apply for additional external scholarship opportunities.

Do I still need to apply for on-campus housing as an NC College Connect applicant?

Yes. Admission to Fayetteville State University does not automatically reserve on-campus housing. Admitted students should follow the steps outlined in the Admitted Student Checklist to apply for housing and complete all remaining enrollment requirements.

What if my GPA drops in my senior year?

Your final high school transcript is required to verify successful graduation and continued academic performance. If your senior-year GPA falls significantly or you no longer meet NC College Connect eligibility requirements, Fayetteville State University may request additional information or reevaluate your admission decision.

Can I submit another application through Common App or another application vendor?

No. If you have already submitted an application through NC College Connect, do not submit another undergraduate application for the same term through Broncoville or another participating application vendor. Multiple applications may delay processing.

How can I check the status of my application?

Log in to your Broncoville Portal to monitor your application status, complete any remaining application requirements, and view your admission decision once it has been released.
