Commander, AFROTC Det 607 | Professor of Aerospace Studies
Lt Col Linthicum leads AFROTC Detachment 607 and serves as Chair of the Department of Aerospace Studies. He oversees the recruiting, education, training, and development of cadets across the detachment’s five academic institutions, preparing them to serve as officers in the United States Air Force and Space Force.

Operations Flight Commander | Associate Professor of Aerospace Studies
Capt Kirchem oversees the detachment's cadet training program and day-to-day operations. He plans and supervises Leadership Laboratory, physical training, professional development, and other training activities designed to prepare cadets for Field Training and future service as officers.

Recruiting Officer/Education Officer | Associate Professor of Aerospace Studies
Capt Deberry manages the detachment's recruiting and academic programs. She guides prospective students through the AFROTC application and enrollment process while overseeing Aerospace Studies curriculum, instruction, and academic requirements for cadets throughout the program.

MSgt Michele DelVecchio
Officer Accessions Instructor
MSgt DelVecchio instructs and mentors cadets as they develop the leadership skills, military knowledge, and professional qualities required of future Air Force and Space Force officers. She also supports cadet training and key accession requirements as cadets progress toward commissioning.

SSgt Hayes oversees the administrative processes that guide cadets from initial enrollment through commissioning. She manages in-processing, contracting, commissioning, cadet records, and detachment programs while advising the Commander on administrative policies and requirements.

Administrative Support Assistant
Ms. McQueen provides administrative support to the Aerospace Studies Department and serves as a key liaison between Detachment 607 and Fayetteville State University. She supports university processes including course scheduling, student registration, departmental administration, and day-to-day coordination for cadre and cadets.
