Transfer Requirements

Transfer Applicants

At FSU, you are classified as a transfer student if you have:

  • graduated from high school
  • obtained a General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • obtained an Adult High School diploma

AND

  • are attending (or have attended) a two-year or four-year college or university
  • have at least 24 transferable credit hours with cumulative 2.0 GPA
  • AND are eligible to return to the last institution you attended

OR

  • Obtained an Associate of Arts, Associates in Science degree from a regionally accredited two-year institution.
  • Applicants under the age of 21 with fewer than 24 transferable credit hours must meet the Minimum Course Requirements (Below) and Minimum Admission Requirements (MAR) of 2.50 GPA and 880 SAT/17 ACT.

 


 

Apply Now

  • Apply online through CFNC or our Broncoville portal.
  • Pay the $50 non-refundable application fee.
  • Submit official transcripts from all schools attended.
  • If you are under 21, submit your high school and college/university transcripts.

Bronco Virtual Transfer Session

Virtual Transfer Information Session

  • Information sessions will cover admissions information specific to prospective transfer students.
  • An admissions counselor will present a 30-minute live information session.
  • There will be time at the end for Q&A.
  • A Teams meeting link will be provided once you register for a session.
