FSU’s Online Degree Completion (ODC) programs are for students who have already completed their general education requirements (approximately 30–45 credit hours) and are prepared to focus on upper-level courses in their chosen major.
To stay on track for graduation, students work closely with their assigned academic advisor to confirm eligibility for their intended major and finalize a personalized graduation plan.
Important to Know: ODC programs are not for completing general education courses. They are for upper-level, major-specific classes only.

Taking online courses does NOT mean you are an ODC student. You must be formally admitted into an Online Degree Completion program by the academic department to be considered an Online Degree student.
To apply for an Online Degree Completion program, you must meet all the following requirements:

Receive approval from the academic department offering your online major
Important: Admission to the university does not automatically guarantee admission into an Online Degree Completion program. Each academic department reviews transcripts separately.
