Welcome to Employee Relations!
The goal of the Employee Relations department is to assist with creating and maintaining a positive relationship between Fayetteville State University and its employees. To achieve this, Employee Relations professionals:
- Promote the fair and equitable treatment of all employees
- Encourage and strengthen communication between employees and their leadership team
- Provide support to both supervisors and employees regarding performance management and disciplinary processes
- Promote the understanding and proper application of University and State Personnel Policies
- Advise employees on their grievance and appeal rights
- Provide all employees with confidential consultations related to ER topics
- Promote productivity, motivation, and morale through employee recognition programs
