Welcome to Employee Relations!

 

The goal of the Employee Relations department is to assist with creating and maintaining a positive relationship between Fayetteville State University and its employees. To achieve this, Employee Relations professionals:

 

  • Promote the fair and equitable treatment of all employees
  • Encourage and strengthen communication between employees and their leadership team
  • Provide support to both supervisors and employees regarding performance management and disciplinary processes
  • Promote the understanding and proper application of University and State Personnel Policies
  • Advise employees on their grievance and appeal rights
  • Provide all employees with confidential consultations related to ER topics
  • Promote productivity, motivation, and morale through employee recognition programs
