FSU’s All About The Blue Homecoming 2026 is just around the corner, and we’re excited to share several key updates to help you prepare for a safe, festive, and unforgettable celebration:
Parade Relocation
The FSU Homecoming Parade will now take place in downtown Fayetteville to help reduce on-campus traffic and ease parking congestion. You can view the full parade route here .
Vending & Tailgating
Vending and tailgating will remain in their traditional locations—so get ready to enjoy the food, fun, and festivities!
Event Schedule
All university-sponsored events on Saturday, Oct. 17 will conclude by 7:00.
Center Stage & Greek Plots
Center Stage activities will take place at the Greek Plots. Student Affairs, in collaboration with Police & Public Safety, will partner with alumni and Greek-letter organization leaders to activate Homecoming Safety Ambassadors throughout the weekend. Safety Ambassadors will support a safe, welcoming environment, reinforce University expectations, and assist with the orderly flow of activities.
All activities at the Greek Plots must begin closing operations at 6:30 p.m., with full closure completed by 7:00 p.m. All music, programming, gatherings, and associated activities must conclude by 7:00 p.m.
Campus Parking Requirements
To ensure adequate parking for university constituents and invited guests:
Public Parking and Shuttle Service
Public parking will be available for visitors and individuals without a valid Fayetteville State University parking permit in the Fayetteville State University parking lot located on Washington Drive. Parking spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until the lot reaches capacity.
A shuttle service will operate continuously throughout the day, transporting passengers between the Washington Drive parking lot and the main campus.
In addition, members of the public may utilize several parking locations throughout the City of Fayetteville, including the two downtown parking decks and other public parking areas.
Please note that shuttle service will only be provided between the Washington Drive parking lot and Fayetteville State University's main campus. Shuttle transportation will not be available to or from the downtown parking decks or any other off-campus parking locations.
We encourage all attendees to plan accordingly and allow additional travel time due to increased traffic and parking demands during Homecoming festivities.
Thank you for your cooperation and support in helping make Homecoming 2026 a safe and enjoyable event for everyone. We look forward to celebrating with you.
