Campus departments and students in FSU residence halls

Decoration Guidelines

Decorations should reflect the Homecoming theme and celebrate Bronco spirit. Please use safe, removable materials that do not damage doors, walls, windows, or lobby areas.

Important Rules:

  • Door handles must remain visible and operational.
  • Decorations may not block doors, hallways, exits, exit signs, fire extinguishers, electrical panels, outlets, or light fixtures.
  • All decorations must be flame retardant.
  • No nails, tacks, staples, glitter, confetti, noise-making items, foam plastics, cotton batting, or cotton balls may be used.
  • Decorations must not create a safety hazard or interfere with ADA accessibility.
  • Any offensive, disrespectful, damaged, or defaced entry may be disqualified.
