Upper-class Experience (3YE/4YE)

About 3rd & 4th Year Experience

The 3rd and 4th Year Experience (3YE/4YE) is a program designed to support juniors and seniors as they navigate the final stages of their college journey. During these years, students often face increased academic rigor, career decision-making, and preparation for life after graduation.

Through 3YE/4YE, students develop strategies for successfully completing their degrees while preparing for post-graduation opportunities. They receive support in refining career goals, gaining professional experience, strengthening leadership abilities, and solidifying their sense of purpose and belonging within the university community.

Mission

(3YE/4YE) is a collaboration between Academic and Student Affairs aimed at advancing the retention, progression, and successful graduation of upper-class students at Fayetteville State University. The Office of Student Success also provides additional learning pathways including graduate studies and professional development opportunities. This is achieved through academic support, career readiness initiatives, student engagement, and campus programming that prepares students for post-graduate success.

Vision

Support students in their progression toward graduation and equip them with the skills, experience, and confidence needed for success beyond college.
