Dr. Hengguang Li is a lecturer and supervisor of core facility in the Department of Chemistry and Physics at Fayetteville State University. He earned his Ph.D. in 1999 from Sichuan University in China and joined FSU as an adjunct assistant professor in 2014. Dr. Hengguang Li's research interests are in the areas of chemical solutions of bio-active compounds including small molecules and macro compounds in different applications, and in multidisplinary areas of organic / medicinal / peptide / nucleotide /polymeric/ physic / analytical / pharmaceutical / computational / biological / natural products chemistries.

Bioactive molecules including small molecules and macro compounds in application of medicine, pharmaceuticals, materials, agriculture, environment, and new energy. Particular interest is aptamer and aptbody.
