FAYETTEVILLE, N.C., (May 16, 2022) – Chancellor Darrell T. Allison has been named to Business North Carolina’s Power List 2022. The news magazine released its annual list of North Carolina’s most influential business leaders on its website and in the May 2022 print issue.
Noting education as a multibillion-dollar industry in North Carolina with a wide array of K-12 schools, robust public and private universities, and a 58-campus community college system, the magazine names Allison to the list of most notable leaders in the education category whose success is considered essential for the state to make economic and social progress.
Allison’s profile expresses his sincere and pointed focus on retaining students, adding scholarships, and expanding programs for adults and military-affiliated students at Fayetteville State University.
Allison joins 24 other noted North Carolina education leaders including several UNC System chancellors and presidents.
Sharing on the Business North Carolina website, editor, David Mildenberg says, “Our state is full of terrific leaders, as evidenced by this publication.
