FSU's Title IX Office Remains Available to Serve Our Campus Community-

Although most of Fayetteville State University is temporarily operating online, this does not change the fact that the University is committed to maintaining a work and educational environment that embraces diversity and where no member of the campus community is excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or subject to discrimination in any college program or activity based on: their race, ethnicity, national origin, color, religion, age, disability, sex, pregnancy or parental status, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, genetic information, political opinions or affiliations, or veteran status.

This commitment applies to employees, volunteers, students, and, to the extent possible, to third parties, applicants for admission, applicants for employment, and the general public. Discrimination and harassment of any kind are wholly unacceptable and run contrary to our academic mission and values as an institution. All inquiries regarding non-discrimination policies or concerns related to sex/gender-based harassment, discrimination, or other Title IX concerns, should be directed to the Title IX Office - as soon as practicable.

Kindly note, harassment and discrimination can occur in an online environment. It is imperative that staff and faculty members understand their continued responsibility to report any Title IX concerns to the University's Title IX Office.

The well-being, security, and safety of our students, staff, and faculty members have always been our first priority. We will continue to be of service to each of you by providing you with virtual alternatives to connect with useful information, resources, and assistance. If there is anything that the Title IX Office can be doing for you during this challenging time, please do not hesitate to reach out.

By continuing to our work together, we can ensure that our University remains free from all forms of harassment and discrimination.
