Inclement weather notice, September 29, 2022

In anticipation of the inclement weather, Fayetteville State University will operate under Condition 1 (Reduced Operations) beginning at 12:01 am Friday, September 30.

According to the latest weather information, the Fayetteville area will experience strong winds and heavy rains beginning Friday morning and continuing through the day and night. In anticipation of the inclement weather, the University will operate under Condition 1 (Reduced Operations) beginning at 12:01 am Friday, September 30th. Normal campus operations will resume on Monday, October 3rd at 12:01 a.m.

Additionally, please note the following:

Classes

Thursday evening, Friday and Saturday classes are cancelled.

Early Childhood Learning Center

The Early Childhood Learning Center will be closed on Friday, September 30th.

Employee Work Schedules

Mandatory employees must report to or remain at work unless otherwise notified.

Non-mandatory employees may decide to leave early, arrive late, or not report, with timely notice to their supervisor. Employees may use leave if not working. Alternatively, and only with supervisor approval, employees may work from home or an alternate site if the employee occupies a position that makes it practical for the employee to work from home. Dining Operations

  • Cafeteria: The Dining Hall will operate as normal.
  • Chick-fil-A: Operating as normal.
  • Bronco Grill: Operate as normal.
  • McAlister’s Deli: Operate as normal.
