Service and Leadership
Fayetteville State University, like an employer, is looking for Leaders!
We believe all students have the potential to be leaders! We also believe that Leadership has many forms. Whether you are developing, emerging, or advancing your leadership ability, through active participation in student leadership opportunities at FSU you will gain valuable skills that will make you more marketable.
Use Your Voice!
At FSU, students are empowered to use your voice to help shape the student experience, practice leadership skills and hone your ability to negotiate, communicate effectively, work collaboratively and think strategically. Through the Student Government Association, Student Activities Council, AUTOS Commuter Student Association, Weekend Activities Committee, Student Conduct Board and Class Councils, there are opportunities for you to grow and develop as a leader!
"FSU has given me a chance to touch the lives a people from very different backgrounds and empathize with their experiences while also uplifting them."
Get actively engaged in student life by being a member of one of the student leader organizations. Membership in these organizations provide unique opportunities for students to build relationships, enhance leadership skills, become civically engaged, maximize their college experiences, and develop the skills desired by employers.
