Fayetteville State University Professor Wins 2020 Regional Artist Project Grant

Dr. Dean Swinford, Professor of English at Fayetteville State University, has won a 2020 Regional Artist Project Grant for his work as an author of literary fiction. This highly competitive grant program supports North Carolina writers and artists; it enables them to pursue projects that enhance their profile in their area of specialization. This program, overseen by the N.C. Arts Council, provides the opportunity for regional consortia of local arts councils to award project grants to writers and artists in their regions.
