Heritage & Values of the USAF (AS 100 Level)

This course is a survey course designed to introduce students to the United States Air Force and provides an overview of the basic characteristics, missions, and organization of theAir Force.

Team & Leadership Fundamentals (AS 200 Level) 

This course provides a fundamental understanding of bothleadership and team building. The lessons and course flow are designed to prepare cadets for fieldtraining and leadership positions in the detachment.

Leading People & Effective Communication (AS 300 Level) 

This course utilizes cadet's field training experience to take a more in-depth look at leadership. Special emphasis is placed on enhancing communication skills, and why that is important as a leader. Cadets have an opportunity to try out these leadership and management techniques in a supervised environment as juniors and seniors.

National Security/Commissioning Preparation (AS 400 Level)

This course is designed for college seniors and gives them the foundation to understand their role as military officers and how they are directly tied to our National Security Strategy. It is an overview of the complex social and political issues facing the military profession and requires a measure of sophistication commensurate with the senior college level.

Leadership Lab/PT

As future leaders and warriors within the United States Air Force, our cadets must excel in their degree, physical fitness, and leadership experience. They must be well-rounded individuals who understand the history, principles, and future of the world's finest Air Force.

Each semester, cadets learn more about the Air Force and become better prepared for the challenges awaiting them. In addition to the required academic classes, cadets must participate in Leadership Laboratory (LLAB). LLAB provides a chance to put academic understanding into practice as cadets apply what they learn to become effective followers as General Miltary Course (GMC) and transform into effective leaders as Professional Military Course (PMC).

Leadership Laboratory is held on Thursdays from 2:00-4:00 and Physical Training on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 and Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 (these are mandatory for all cadets please fit your class schedule around these times).
