Are you a first-time freshman? If you haven’t taken any college courses after high school (summer courses don’t count), you’re in the right place!

What to Submit

To apply as a first-time freshman, you should submit the following:

  1. Undergraduate Application for Admission through Broncoville.
  2. $50 non-refundable application fee.
  3. Official high school transcript.
  4. Official SAT/ACT standardized test is required for those with a GPA between 2.5 and 2.8.

When making an admission decision, we look at your overall academic performance, including your grades and class rank (if available). While letters of recommendation aren’t required, they can help us learn more about your accomplishments.

Admission Requirements:

  • GPA: At least a 2.5 on your final high school transcript.
  • Courses: Completion of required high school courses (see below).
  • An official SAT/ACT score report for applicants whose GPA falls between 2.5 and 2.8.

 

Required Courses

  • Language: 4 units of English, focusing on grammar, composition, and literature.
  • Mathematics: 4 units, such as Algebra I & II, geometry, and one unit beyond Algebra II (taking a math course in 12th grade is strongly encouraged).
  • Sciences: 3 units, including life science (e.g., biology), physical science (e.g., chemistry, physics), and one lab course.
  • Social Studies: 2 units, including U.S. history. If missing, students must complete 3 semester hours by the end of their sophomore year.

 

Additional Requirements

  • After Spring 2024: 2 more academic courses in English, math, science, social studies, world languages, or computer science (completion of two sequential world language courses is recommended).

Starting after Spring 2024, students will also need 2 more academic courses in subjects like math, science, or world languages. Completing 2 sequential foreign language courses is recommended.
