Parade Date

Saturday, October 26, 2024 | Start Time: 9 a.m.

 


 

Parade Route

  • Participant lineup starts down Hillsboro Street at the intersection of Moore Street.
  • The parade officially starts on Murchison Rd at the Moore and Bruner Street intersection.
  • Travel northwest on Murchison Road, passing FSU campus on the right.
  • Turn right onto Langdon Street, travel east, pass Capel Arena and Jeralds Football Field.
  • Continue east on Langdon Street, across railroad tracks at Martin Luther King Drive.
  • Travel east to Grace Black Circle on the right, onto FSU East Campus.
  • Turn right onto Grace Black Circle into Parking Lot F.
  • Parade entries disband in Parking Lot F with officer assistance.

An entry form and $300 will be required of all external groups to participate in this year’s Homecoming Parade. There is no fee for FSU Campus Organizations.

Parade Information, Rules, and Safety Guidelines

All parade participants are expected to adhere to the expectations formulated by the Homecoming Planning Committee of Fayetteville State University for the 2023 FSU Homecoming Parade.

The parade safety guidelines are enacted both for the protection of all participating parties and to ensure the smooth operation of the parade as a highlight of Bronco Homecoming activities. The parade guidelines are not meant to be conclusive or all-encompassing. Further guidelines may be enacted by the parade committee without prior notice. Your assistance in noting the guidelines that are applicable to your entry is most appreciated.
