Special Events

Within the Office of the Chancellor, the Special Events team plans and executes campus-wide events such as the All About the Blue Bronco Homecoming and Winter and Spring Commencements.

Led by the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Special Events, the team’s mission is to create high-quality events that deliver on the University’s commitment to excellence. The Special Events team works collaboratively with all campus departments to ensure the success of all large and special university events.

The AVC for Special Events also serves as the chair of the FSU Events Council. The Council consists of representatives from departments across campus and provides strategic oversight for all events with campus-wide reach and impact.
