Graduate Commencement:

UPDATE: Graduate students should arrive at the Capel breezeway by 8:30 Friday morning.
The processional will begin promptly at 9:45am. No guests will be allowed to enter during the processional. All guests should make plans to be seated prior to 9:45am.
Graduate Commencement will also be streamed live on the FSU Commencement webpage.
**Graduate Commencement rehearsal will be Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Capel Arena at 2:00pm.
You asked and we heard you! Tickets will NOT be required for Graduate Commencement at Capel Arena! Bring your family and friends and let’s celebrate your achievement!
PARKING: We’re looking forward to welcoming you to campus for Spring Commencement 2025! Due to the exciting things happening on campus and our rapid expansion, parking for this event is limited. VIP guests and those with mobility challenges may park in Lot CS, at Capel Arena. All others are asked to park in available, non-reserved spaces around Capel. Thank you for your patience.

UNDERGRADUATE COMMENCEMENT MEMO: Please read to prepare for commencement!
Crown Coliseum
Fayetteville, North Carolina
Undergraduate students should arrive at Crown Coliseum by 7:00am Saturday morning.
The processional will begin promptly at 8:30am. No guests will be allowed to enter during the processional. All guests should make plans to be seated prior to 8:30am.
Undergraduate Commencement will also be streamed live on the FSU Commencement webpage.
**Undergraduate Commencement rehearsal will be Friday, May 9, 2025 at Crown Coliseum at 2:00pm.
**Tickets will NOT be required for guests attending Commencement in Crown Coliseum.
Students must apply to graduate by March 31, 2025 to have their name included in the Commencement program booklet.
Students must apply to graduate by April 30, 2025, to participate in the Commencement ceremony.
Please Note: the Crown Coliseum has a Clear Bag Policy in effect for all events. For more information about the venue and its guest policies, please visit the website.

ADA Assistance
Participants and guests requiring ADA assistance should contact the Counseling and Personal Development Center at 910-672-1222.
Students and/ or guests who are in need of ADA Assistance at commencement will need to complete the following request form.
Commencement ADA assistance requests must be submitted by Friday, May 2, 2025, to ensure our team can coordinate necessary arrangements for commencement. If we do not receive your completed request by this date, we cannot guarantee the implementation of your requested accommodations due to venue logistics, vendor timelines, and university protocols. Spring 2025 Commencement ADA Assistance Request Form
Restricted Mobility
- Capel Arena: Fayetteville State University has designated Lot CS for ADA accessible parking on a first come basis. In addition, we offer ADA drop-off points for individuals with DMV issued ADA -placards. If you have a DMV issued placard, please have it visible when entering the parking lots so that you can be directed to the ADA parking and/or drop-off locations. Wheelchair accessible entrance and elevators are available for guests. For more information about accessibility at Fayetteville State University, please contact the Counseling and Personal Development Center at disabilityservices@uncfsu.edu.
- Crown Coliseum: The Crown Complex provides each guest with equal opportunities to enjoy their facilities. The North VIP Lot is designated for accessible parking. If you have a DMV issued placard, please have it visible when entering the parking lots so that you can be directed to the ADA parking and/or drop-off locations. All entrances have wheelchair access. The Coliseum, Ballroom and Expo Center all have access to an elevator and escalators. The Crown Coliseum provides several accessible seating areas for guests who utilize wheelchairs on the concourse level. It is recommended for guests with limited mobility to sit in rows closest to the concourse level in order to reduce having to use the stairs. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Service animals are the only animals allowed to accompany guests to events.
