Yolanda Massey-McCullough

BSW Field Director/Lecturer

Yolanda is in her third year as an adjunct instructor in the School of Social Work. She is a graduate of the Institute of Political Leadership from University of North Carolina at Wilmington and is currently pursuing a PhD in Social work. She is currently employed at Harnett County Department of Public Health as a social worker, working with children ages birth to five who have chronic illnesses.  Yolanda currently serves as a Commissioner on the Eastern Carolina Housing Authority Commission, Chairwoman for SAFE kids of Harnett County and sits on the Police Athletic League Advisory Board as Secretary of the Board additionally she serves on the Board of a nonprofit women's ministry CR8NME which focuses on empowering women based on biblical principles. She was also a 2014 semi- finalist for My Black is Beautiful Ambassador search which seeks to promote and empower teenage and young adult girls to appreciate and love their bodies from the inside out.
