The Curriculum Learning Resource Laboratory is located on the 2nd Floor of the Charles W. Chesnutt Library

Mission:

The Curriculum Learning Resource Laboratory (CLRL) provides students, staff, faculty with opportunities to create new 21st-century learning spaces approaches and instructional design through a variety of learning platforms thus preparing them for the profession teaching.

The CLRL serves as a supportive unit service for students, faculty, staff and alumni teachers of the College of Education. The Laboratory's commitment is to make available resources that will empower students to explore, discover, reason, analyze and enhance their teaching techniques to inspire student learning.

Materials in the Curriculum Learning Resource Laboratory

The CLRL provides the following materials and services to support the Teacher Education program.

  • Children & Young Adult Literature

Services provided by the CLRL:

  • Provides cameras, laptops, iPads for checkout
  • Provides reference assistance to students, faculty, and staff
  • Provides reservations for the use of the CLRL for classes, testing, meetings, and workshops
  • Provides craft materials for students to create bulletin boards, lesson plans or projects
  • Printing, and scanning are also available
