CALAS Funding Opportunities
CALAS Fall 2022
The Center for the Advancement of Liberal Arts and STEM (CALAS) at Fayetteville State University will select at least 12 HBCU faculty who will work one-on-one with a CALAS consultant to infuse Liberal Arts skills into a STEM course. More specifically, these STEM faculty will collaborate with CALAS consultants to work to develop creative and innovative pedagogical approaches to integrate soft skills into a STEM course(s). This initiative will enhance the knowledge base for generating best practices for the intersection of soft and technical skill development for students.
