Fayetteville State University (FSU) opened a newly renovated pool to students, faculty, and staff in the campus Health, Physical Education and Recreation Complex with plans to open it up for broader community use in the near future.
Aquatics Facility
The state-of-the-art facility and Olympic-sized pool provide aquatic teaching, learning, training, competitive and recreation opportunities for university constituents and will again serve as a significant resource for various community groups. It is currently the sole facility of its kind in the area. Features include:
- 8-lane, 25-yard pool
- 13-foot dive well
- 50-meter Olympic pool
- 18 – 25-yard lanes available when set up for short course
- Wet classroom
- ADA-compliant pool chair lift
Admission and Access: Patrons must have an active student Bronco Card or proof of membership (faculty and staff) to access the facility.

All participants to Any Recreation Facility must submit a Participant Recreation Facilities Waiver if you haven't already done so.

The facility schedule is set per semester (monthly) and outlines the hours for each of the dwellings within the FSU Aquatic Center. The recreation and leisure schedule are based on historic user patterns, program, and practice schedules. We will open and close facilities throughout the day to provide opportunities to you that fit your needs while remaining good stewards of your fees. Closing facilities during historically low use periods will allow us to open more facilities and stay open longer during high-use periods. Any interruptions or changes to schedules are communicated quickly via our website, signage, and electronic communication and social media.

Membership Rates
Admission to the Aquatic Center facility is FREE for all currently enrolled FSU Students with valid FSU identification.
The following membership rates are determined by your relationship to Fayetteville State University. Rates represent the 2023-2024 academic year only and are subject to change.
2023-2024 Aquatic Center Membership Rates
Faculty and staff can purchase memberships through the Aquatic Center webpage or via FSU’s payroll deduction program. Payroll deduction programs are available for full- time, benefitted FSU faculty/staff. In the event employment ceases for faculty/staff, membership will also end.
