Parking Enforcement conduct campus foot patrols daily, focusing on safety, building security, and crime detection and deterrence.

Faculty Staff and Students

All Fayetteville State University students and employees must register their vehicles with Parking Services to park on campus. A vehicle is considered registered only when a valid FSU parking permit is displayed. Vehicles can be registered by visiting FSU Parking Portal or by reporting to the Parking Services Office currently located in the Mitchell building.

*Please note, all students, faculty, and staff are required to present a driver’s license or Bronco Identification card to pick up their parking permit.

Faculty, staff and students needing ADA parking services must display a current FSU parking permit with handicap approval provided by the Parking Enforcement and Services unit.

*Only the individual who is issued a state handicap placard or license plate may use handicap parking privileges per NCGS. 20-37.6.

Visitors and Guest

Visitors must obtain a temporary parking permit by accessing the parking portal. QR codes can also be found in the Visitor parking lots or Open parking lots around campus.

Can parking permits be transferred or shared?

No! Parking permits are not transferable. Permits are assigned to an individual account and the vehicles listed on that individual account. It is important to check your account regularly to ensure that your vehicles listed are the vehicles you drive. Vehicles can be added and deleted from your account on the Parking Portal or by coming to the Police and Public Safety Department.

Where do I place my parking permit?

Permits should be hung from the rearview mirror or driver’s side of the dashboard. Permits must be clearly visible at all times. Permits are not to be permanently affixed to the vehicle. If using a sun shield, place the permit in front of the sun shield in the areas of the rearview mirror or driver’s side of the dashboard.
