Research Opportunities

The Ronald E. McNair Post Baccalaureate Achievement Program

The Ronald E. McNair Post Baccalaureate Achievement Program is a summer research internship that pairs advanced undergraduate students with faculty. The goal of this program is to prepare undergraduate students from the low-income, first generation, or underrepresented population for graduate school by offering research experience, GRE prep, and academic workshops. Faculty in the Department who work with McNair students mentor them throughout the stages of their research project, from data collection and analysis to the presentation of research findings. This opportunity has prepared many of our majors for advanced graduate study.
