The Department of Sociology and Interdisciplinary Studies hosts the Sociology Alumni Panel Discussion and cordially invites you to join.
The event will be held as follows:
*Date: Wednesday, March 1
*Time: 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
*Place: Virtual via Microsoft Teams. You will find the Teams link below.
*Theme: Job Search and Career Opportunities with a Degree in Sociology
*Target audience: Current students in the B.A. and M.A. Sociology programs and recent graduates
The following is a list of the seven panelists.
- Mr. Leon Borders, Assistant Principal, Ponderosa Elementary School
- Ms. Monica Edwards, Department of Veterans Affairs
- Ms. Shawna Feemster, Academic Advisor, Fayetteville State University. Ms. Feemster has also worked in a non-profit.
- Ms. Shawna Hopkins, Pickens Peace Project
- Ms. Alberta Lampkins, Claims Specialist, Social Security Administration. Ms. Lampkins has also worked in a non-profit.
- Ms. Caroline Ortiz, Senior Institutional Research Associate, Fayetteville State University
- Ms. Sitiva Warren, Sixth grade teacher, Westover Middle School
